Warum Linux auf dem Desktop nie funktionieren wird

Fefe hat das ganze sehr schön unter http://blog.fefe.de/?ts=b53326b6 zusammengefasst. Ähnliches kenne ich von Ubuntu 9.10, wo man sich devices von Hand anlegen muß, wenn man einen etwas älteren Kernel bootet.

    Bei mir läuft Linux seit einem halben Jahr gut und ohne Probleme. Ich muss allerdings auch sagen, dass ich ausser Internet, Email und OpenOffice nicht viel damit mache.
